Working in IT staffing, I hear what people want most from their potential employer when negotiating their contracts. For many people, money is the number one factor that determines whether they are willing to take a job. For others, there are factors such as being close to home that are more important. Some people I talk to aren’t willing to commute to another city, even if they are offered lot of money for the job. Others would happily pounce on the chance to travel, even internationally, as part of their job.
What Determines Whether You Are Happy With Your Job? If there’s one thing I’ve learned from my job in IT staffing, it’s that what people want from their job varies widely from person to person. Today, I wanted to poll you to find out what your biggest motivation in the workplace is.
